The Man in the Hat

When visiting the recently purchased fixer-upper home of her friend on the outskirts of Carisbrooke,  a mother went to find her young daughter in the gardens to get her ready to leave. She found her in the old stone barn, chatting away happily to herself.  When she waved goodbye before turning away, her mother asked what she was waving at. "The nice man in the hat, Mummy!" came the reply.
