In the 1890s, Albert DuBois would perform monologues at the long-since lost Shanklin Pier Theatre. Years later, in 1918, the theatre was destroyed when a vicious fire ripped though it and a replacement was erected in its stead. After its restoration, performers would notice cold spots backstage, aswell as the faint echo of disembodied applause. Footsteps would also be heard climbing the steps to the stage- but only ever seven, the number one original theatre had whereas the replacement had nine. The spirit of a man, thought to be Albert, was also noted to appear dressed in grey with a flash of white hair.

Our large ghost figurines measure approximately 8 cm tall and are hand-made with care on the Isle of Wight, thought to be the most haunted island in the world. Each ghost is completely unique and features an Isle of Wight shaped base. Matt finish. Please note that by virtue of the hand-making and finishing process, minor imperfections and slight colour variations may be present. These are normal and add to the character of each spirit, with each one being a true one-of-a-kind.
