Lavender Farm

Staplehurst Grange, once home to a lavender farm and distillery, was once a monastic farm owned by the Cistercian monks of Quarr Abbey many centuries ago. Amongst the fragrant lavender and bustle of tourists,  it was not uncommon to glimpse one of these former tenants of the land from the corner of your eye..
