The Boy in Blue Velvet
The Boy in Blue Velvet
ln 1990, a couple living in a recently built bungalow on the former site of East Cowes Castle, an imposing gothic-style residence designed by John Nash in 1789 and demolished in 1965, encountered a young boy. Appearing to enter from the back door, the boy stood for a few moments- long enough for the owners to note his blonde curls and elegant blue velvet suit- before vanishing when greeted and asked his name. Following this encounter, the boy would appear only once more a year later, but incidences of objects disappearing and reappearing where they had originally been placed; cold spots where the boy had once stood and phantom scents became regular occurrences.
Our large ghost figurines measure approximately 8cm tall and are hand-made with care on the Isle of Wight, thought to be the most haunted island in the world. Each ghost is completely unique and features an Isle of Wight shaped base. Matt finish.
Please note that by virtue of the hand-making and finishing process, minor imperfections or colour variations may be present. These are normal and add to the character of each spirit, with each one being a true one-of-a-kind.
